Where to See Fireworks in Philadelphia

The Fourth of July is almost here, and warm weather is here along with everything else that it brings with it. Whether you enjoy barbecues, time spent with family and friends, or just relaxing after a long week at work, almost everyone can find common ground in one enduring tradition: fireworks. Here are some great places to see fireworks if you’ll be in the Philadelphia area this Independence Day.

Sunoco Welcome America! Festival: A celebration of America’s birthday in the City of Brotherly Love. On Saturday, the festivities begin with ceremonies and a parade through historic Philadelphia. The “Party on the Parkway” will feature games, food, and entertainment for everyone in your family. Sheryl Crow will play a free concert at 8pm, followed by fireworks immediately afterward at Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Outside of the city, here are other places to see fireworks in Pennsylvania:

Chester: Saturday at dusk, at Chester Park.

Downingtown: Saturday at 9:30pm, at Kerr Park.

Harrisburg:
Friday at 10pm, in Negley Park, Lemoyne.

Lancaster: Saturday at 10pm, in Lititz Springs Park.

Lebanon: Saturday at 9pm, in Coleman Memorial Park. The rain date is on Sunday.

Limerick: Saturday at 9:30pm, at Turtle Creek Golf Course.

Norristown: Saturday at dusk (after the parade), at Elmwood Park.

Shawnee on Delaware: Saturday at 9pm, at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area.

State College: Saturday at 9:15pm, at the Central PA 4th Fest.
