Dwele Sets a Smooth Mood at World Cafe Live

Singer-songwriter Dwele will be performing at World Cafe Live on Wednesday, July 30. The show will begin at 7:30 PM in Downstairs Live. Tickets are on sale now.

Dwele (whose birth name is actually Andwele Gardner) was born in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up listening to the music of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and many other infamous jazz musicians of the time. From a young age Dwele started writing music and knew it was his passion in life. Since then he has release three studio albums. His first two, Subject and Some Kinda were released on Virgin Records. Yet he has currently left Virgin for KOCH Records, in which his newest album, Sketches of Man was released on June 24 of this year that showcases his warm melodies and signature octave. Today Dwele states, “Music is what I do and who I am”.
