Winehouse Grabbing Headlines With Weekend Shows
Amy Winehouse is back onstage, and even though her demeanor seems more stable, there is still a headline-grabbing incident from the weekend. On Saturday, the vocalist performed at the Glastonbury festival and had an altercation with a fan after jumping into the audience. Winehouse reportedly struck a fan, but reports are that she did so in self-defense after the person in question grabbed at her hair. The vocalist also was booed by audience members when she paid tribute to her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil. Things were a lot less troublesome a day earlier when Winehouse performed at a 90th birthday concert for Nelson Mandela. During the performance, the singer played her hit song "Rehab" and also provided a cover of The Zutons' "Valerie." |
