Eddie Van Halen Proposes To Longtime Girlfriend
Eddie Van Halen is ready to say "I do" to marriage again. People.com says the 53-year-old Van Halen guitarist recently popped the question to his 38-year-old girlfriend Janie Liszewski -- on bended knee. The proposal reportedly took place in a private room at a Tiffany & Co. store while the two were vacationing in Hawaii. The couple is reportedly planning a June 2009 wedding. Van Halen was famously married to actress Valerie Bertinelli for more than 20 years before the two separated in 2001. Their divorce was finalized last year. This will be Liszewski's first marriage. An actress and stuntwoman, Liszewski became Van Halen's publicist in 2007 ahead of the band's successful reunion tour with original frontman David Lee Roth. |
