Michelle Branch and Gloria Estefan participated in the taping of the "Women Rock! Girls And Guitars" breast cancer benefit concert in Los Angeles. The show aired on the Lifetime network later in the month.

Alicia Keys won the Best R&B Female Artist honor at the 2004 Source Awards. The event was held in Miami, Florida.

Olivia Newton-John appeared on ABC's "The View" to discuss the disappearance of her boyfriend. Patrick Kim McDermott went missing after he left for a fishing trip in June 2005. Olivia called the event "very shocking," and said she was trying to move on.< |
