Roger Waters To Headline India Live Earth Concert
Roger Waters will be among the headliners at another Live Earth event. The former Pink Floyd rocker is leading the list of entertainers at a concert next month in India. The Indian-heavy roster of performers also features Bon Jovi and the Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am. Live Earth India, with the continued goal of bringing attention to climate and environmental issues, will take place in Mumbai on December 7th. Live Earth, which former Vice President Al Gore helped launch, captured headlines with an international concert event in July 2007, with shows staged in countries on all seven continents to emphasize the global scope of the issues. Waters also participated in that event, performing at the East Rutherford, New Jersey show. Bon Jovi was another New Jersey Live Earth performer, while will.i.am was part of the 2007 event's London show. |
