GRAMMY Acknowledgement For Phoenix, Dave Aude
Phoenix is getting some appreciation from their label. Glassnote Records President Daniel Glass says, quote, "We are thrilled and proud of Phoenix's GRAMMY Award. This is an inspiring year for Glassnote, Phoenix and all independents. It's gratifying that a great album and effort is recognized." Phoenix captured the award for Best Alternative Rock Album with "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix."
Meanwhile, Dave Aude, who was nominated for the Best Remixed Recording GRAMMY and attended the ceremony, says, quote, "I went to the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards as a nominee, so in my eyes, I've already won. I may not have brought home the hardware, but I got to hang out with my very talented peers, which is a lifelong dream fulfilled. I also got to see my wife in a ridiculously beautiful dress, so it was well worth it." Aude was in the running for his remix of the Dean Coleman Featuring DCLA track "I Want You," but the award went to David Guetta's remix of his track with Kelly Rowland, "When Love Takes Over (Electro Extended Remix)." |
