GRAMMY Ratings Enjoy Six-Year High
Sunday night's 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards enjoyed their best rating in more than five years. According to "Entertainment Weekly," early Nielsen estimates are reporting that CBS' broadcast was watched by 26-point-six-million viewers. The event was the most watched GRAMMY Awards since 2004. Taylor Swift was among the big winners at the event, and took home the top prize of Album of the Year for her CD "Fearless." She was also a performer at the event, and shared the stage with Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks. Several other other country stars participated as well. Carrie Underwood took part in a special tribute honoring the late Michael Jackson, while Lady Antebellum and the Zac Brown Band entertained as well. Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert were among the presenters at the event. |
