Miley Cyrus Works Overtime On Two Haiti Relief Singles
With celebrities clamoring to do their part to raise money for Haiti relief efforts, there's one star who's working overtime for the cause. Singer Miley Cyrus can be heard on both the star-studded 2010 "We Are The World" remake and the Simon Cowell-produced remake of R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts." Proceeds from the sales of both will go to a variety of organizations working toward relief efforts in Haiti. Cyrus can also be seen making a video plea to fans on her website, asking for ten-dollar text donations to the American Red Cross. The "Everybody Hurts" track will be available for purchase on UK music sites like Play.com on Monday, February 8th while the video for "We Are The World" will premiere during the opening ceremony of the Vancouver Olympics on Friday, February 12th.
