Carrie Underwood Likes Videos That Enhance Songs
Carrie Underwood is pleased with the video for her latest single, "Temporary Home." The singer says she likes how the clip reflects the song's message without parroting it.
Underwood notes that in general she doesn't think videos should follow a song's lyrics word-for-word. She explains that videos provide an opportunity to give a song an additional visual component, and doesn't see much of a point to clips that simply mirror the lyrics. Underwood's video for "Temporary Home" will make its broadcast debut Thursday on both CMT and GAC. Also look for Underwood to perform live at this weekend's Super Bowl in Miami where she is set to sing the National Anthem. CBS will broadcast the event. |
