Another New Tim McGraw Single Arrives From Curb
Tim McGraw has yet another new single out. The country superstar's "Right Back Atcha Babe," his third release in less than a month, arrived at iTunes this week. It follows "Better Than I Used to Be" and "Christmas All Over the World," both of which became available in the past four weeks. In late November Curb Records released "Better Than I Used to Be" from the upcoming album "Emotional Traffic," which Curb controls. A week later Tim issued the holiday song on his own. "Right Back Atcha Babe" is also from "Emotional Traffic." Meanwhile, another new single from Tim is expected in the near future. When McGraw announced the release of his Christmas song earlier this month, he said he'd also be issuing a new single soon after the first of the year. The onslaught of new McGraw material -- from both Curb and Tim -- follows a Nashville judge's ruling that the singer could release songs on his own while his legal battle with his label continues. "Emotional Traffic" sparked the dispute. Curb Records sued McGraw over the album back in May, claiming he didn't follow the parameters of his contract in making the disc. Tim countersued, accusing the label of holding the album "hostage" and keeping him in "indentured servitude." Their case is scheduled to go to trial in July.
